D\u2019un instant \u00e0 l\u2019autre, on passe des murs immenses de l\u2019imposante citadelle \u00ab\u00a0Li Tchestia\u00a0\u00bb, aux prairies et for\u00eats denses (la forteresse du d\u00e9but du 19<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> si\u00e8cle fut utilis\u00e9e comme camp d\u2019internement par les nazis. Aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est un lieu de m\u00e9moire avec le \u00ab Mus\u00e9e de la r\u00e9sistance et des camps de concentration\u00a0\u00bb). On y trouve entre autres quatre reliques et des chefs-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre d\u2019orf\u00e8vrerie meusienne datant des 12<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> si\u00e8cles. P\u00e9riode faste de la ville, au cours de laquelle des b\u00e2timents tels que le couvent des Fr\u00e8res mineurs (qui abrite aujourd\u2019hui le mus\u00e9e de la ville) et le couvent des Croisiers, dont il ne reste plus que le portail bien plus r\u00e9cent, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits. Les vestiges du mur m\u00e9di\u00e9val de la ville dans la rue des Remparts datent \u00e9galement de cette \u00e9poque. On se retrouve alors en plein milieu des ruelles du vieux Huy, o\u00f9 l\u2019on peut facilement fl\u00e2ner une, deux, voire trois heures. Entre la rue de la Cloche et la place Saint-S\u00e9verin, il y a de nombreux petits magasins tenus par leurs propri\u00e9taires.
